Farewell Symposium Jonathan Heeney

15th March 2008 marked the farewell symposium in honour of Jon Heeney, who has left BPRC.  Colleagues from many  institutes in the Netherlands joined in a stimulating scientific session to reflect on the strong contribution Jon and his group have made to Dutch and international science in his time at BPRC. 
We wish Jon well in his new appointment abroad and are sure he will continue to make important contributions to research on diseases that have a major impact on human health.
