Farewell Symposium Peter Heidt

On 25 December 2009, Prof.Dr. Peter Heidt reached his pensionable age.
In honour of his farewell, a symposium was organised with distinguished speakers that have played an important role in the long career of Peter.
During the well-attended meeting,  lectures were presented that included important scientific contributions from Peter, e.g. new therapies in bonemarrow transplantation, as well as his involvement in the development of the BPRC as Chairman of the Animal Science Department. We thank Peter for all his contributions and wish him and his family all the best.
