EU sponsored Research Infrastructure for studies in non-human primates
EU sponsored Transnational Access to Non Human Primate Models of Chronic Immune Disorders.
The Research Infrastructure Biomedical Primate Research Centre (BPRC), located in Rijswijk, The Netherlands, provides a unique possibility to investigate pathogenic mechanisms and new therapies in nonhuman primate models for autoimmune diseases, transplantation, infectious diseases and neurodegenerative diseases. The expertise of the BPRC scientists will support EU investigators when using this research infrastructure.
Access being offered 2011-2014
EU scientists will be offered the opportunity to use the BPRC facilities for their own investigation when the use of non-human primates is an essential step in their research. Currently, most access has been allocated to a number of users.
